It’s been a while and this rear-on swing view shows I’m up to my old tricks! I’m standing up, bringing my club head over the top, not transferring my weight to my front leg, and curling up my arm instead of following through.
Now admittedly that’s a lot of stuff to correct, but I’m going to focus on not standing up and following through. I’ve been doing a drill where I hold a club behind my neck like a squat bar and rotate through a swing. Hopefully this way I’ll remember that rotation feeling instead of trying to force the club down; thereby correcting both the standing up and coming over the top.
“Rotate back, allow the hands to fall, rotate forward around my spine to keep my shoulders out of the way, lift my back foot.”
Can’t wait for the snow to end.
